In today's media landscape, time is of the essence more than ever before. There's no point having professional photographers or videographers pitch side if you have to wait hours to get their images before you can share them on the club's socials and web channels.
The Problem: The "Technical Minefield" of FTP
Most modern cameras come equipped with FTP (File Transfer Protocol) or SFTP functionality, but using it is notoriously difficult. Usually, you are stuck with two bad options:
- The DIY Route: Trying to set up and maintain your own servers. It’s a technical minefield that requires IT expertise most creative teams simply don't have.
- The Overpriced Route: Subscribing to "enterprise" services that cost 10x more than they should while only offering half the features you actually need.
That's where we come in. Send Files was built by an award winning sports and entertainment photographer (who very humbly wrote this himself). He spent years trying to find a simpler way to get files from camera to client, decided to do it himself and built an affordable system that lets everyone access the full potential of their kit.
Send Files is designed from the ground up to fix the workflow bottlenecks that force content teams to use substandard phone stills/video so that they can post quickly.
How It Works: The Instant Workflow
We’ve stripped away the complexity so you can focus on the content. Here is how Send Files bridges the gap between the shutter click and the "Publish" button:
1. Direct Camera Integration
The photographer or videographer sets up their camera to point directly to your dedicated Send Files SFTP/FTP account. This is a one-time setup that turns the camera into a live broadcasting tool.
2. Instant Upload
The second an awesome moment is captured, the photographer hits upload on theback of their camera. The file travels to our lightning-fast, localised servers using the stadium’s Wi-Fi or Ethernet, or a personal 4G/5G mobile hotspot.

3. Automated Distribution
Once the file is uploaded, you have a few options on how to share the image. You can either access it through our online file browser or SFTP software.
Or, if your team work on a different platform to gather content, you using our Sync functionality, you can set images and videos to automatically distribute to:
- Cloud Storage: Dropbox, Google Drive, or Box.
- External Servers: Your own external SFTP/FTP folders.
- Direct Email: Send the best shots straight to a social media manager’s inbox in real-time.

Why This Changes the Game for Web & Social Admins
When your workflow is automated, your team gains a massive competitive advantage:
- Higher Engagement: High-resolution professional imagery generates significantly more likes, shares, and comments than compressed phone photos.
- Sponsor Value: Your partners and sponsors want their logos seen in the best possible light. Delivering professional "match action" shots while the game is still live provides massive ROI.
- Media Relations: Journalists and news outlets are hungry for content. Being the first to provide high-res imagery to the press ensures your club dominates the headlines.
- Peace of Mind: No more "Where is the link?" or "Can you WeTransfer that?" The files are just there when you need them.
Stop Waiting. Start Sending.
The days of "waiting for the card" are over. Whether you are a local club looking to level up your photo game or a major team or competition needing a reliable content pipeline, Send Files is designed to scale with you.
Send-Files.com is already being utilised by elite level sports, including the Australian Open and in the NBA, join the teams on the cutting edge.
We’ve made it simple, we’ve made it fast, and most importantly, we’ve made it affordable.
